Valhalla Powerlifting Club Makes a Strong Debut at Its First Competition
On Sunday 20 December 2025 the Valhalla Powerlifting Club took part in its first official competition. The club had only recently been founded on 13 October 2025 and in a short period of time our athletes already delivered remarkable performances.
At this first competition, the Valhalla Powerlifting Club was represented by four athletes, three of whom succeeded in setting new national records, marking a very promising start for the club.

In the -52 kg Open category, Diana Macedo stood out by setting a new national deadlift record of 123 kg.
In the Junior -66 kg category, Bob Scholtes delivered an outstanding performance in his very first competition. He broke the bench press national record twice, successfully lifting 125.5 kg and then 130.5 kg.
In the Junior -105 kg category, Anthony Kiesch confirmed that bench press is his specialty, improving the national record with a lift of 176.5 kg.
Finally, Max Serra (Open -105 kg) adopted a strategic approach throughout the competition, prioritizing consistency and successfully completing almost all of his attempts.
We would also like to thank Jean our coach and president, Jeff and José for their valuable support and help as spotters during the competition.
